Fights the Fans Would Love to See?

2007 has produced some very interesting fights and yet i feel we got the best still to come this year with Ricky Hattons showdown with Floyd Jr also Joe Calzaghe's battle of the super middleweights against the dane Mikel Kessler which could make for one of the fights of the year on Nov 3.

So do we have much to look forward to in 2008? I think so fights i would like to see for 2008 would be Carl Froch vs Joe Calzaghe a real barnstormer that would be, Enzo Maccarinelli vs David Haye can't see that going the full distance also Kelly Pavlik vs Winky Wright, Paul Williams vs Miguel Cotto and dare i say it for both fighters to leave us with one last classic Barrera vs Morales 4, neither one would want to lose that which would make for a great fight there are alot of potentially good fights out there for us to watch next year lets hope they happen i am really looking foward to 2008.

Joe calzaghe announces retirement

Lets hope he can go out on a high as i see mikel kessler being his last challenge,i hope im wrong because i would love to see him share a ring with Bernard hopkins that would be interesting as he is still at the top of his game and it would be a good atmosphere in my house as my wife is a hopkins fan and i am a calzaghe fan,we have had many disputes about this dream meeting i would love to prove my wife wrong as she thinks hopkins would be to good for calzaghe DREAM ON TRACEY.............

Is amir khan another prince?

Khan is he destined for greatness or is he another hyped up british fighter i must admit i was a believer until i watched his last two fights, he stepped up in class for the willie limmond fight and look what happened there he was very lucky to win ,he was in a very bad state when he got knocked down in all fairness he got back up and give it is all but that was against a guy not known for his punching power but for his technical skills.
Then steps up scott lawton 'who'scott lawton i said who is he, well lets admit what a walk over that was, i don't see amir khan going any further than british or european level i would love to be proved wrong but i don,t even see him beating graham earl which will be a good fight.
He will go down the same road as the prince just below world class?

UFC HYPE

the ufc (ultimate fighting championship) seems to be coming ever so popular what are your thoughts on it becoming as mainstream as boxing alot of people i speak to seem to think it will one day, i beg to differ what do you think?
